Poor Holly. She ate something disgusting on Monday and was sick all night. Now it appears that she has kennel cough as well. Two days on chicken and rice, and now she's on antibiotics too. She's in her basket looking rather glum

Re: Holly's bad week Our vet said that there's a lot of it around. We'll try to keep her away from other dogs for a while to avoid passing it on.
Re: Holly's bad week Thanks for all the good wishes. The cough seems to be slowly improving. She doesn't seem to cough so often or so deeply. She's also been a bit more energetic over the last 24 hours so I think she's on the mend. It appears that dogs remain contagious for a while, so we'll plan on some quiet walks away from other dogs.
