Ok so we are in the process of changing Hollie onto Simpsons premium 80/20/0 kibble from the trash the breeder had her on. My question is the amount of daily food has or will decrease from 345g a day to 100g a day!!!!! Isn't she going to be hungry??? With such a drop of meal? Thanks again everybody Xx
Re: Yet another food question Hunger is caused by more than food quantity - it's about nutritional quality too (so you can eat a smaller quantity of nutritious food and still not feel hungry compared to a larger quantity of poorer food). I think she'll be fine once she gets used to it As an added bonus you will have much less poo to collect!
Re: Yet another food question Is it Simpson's premium puppy? Why do you think the recommended daily amount is 100g? I mean, how are you reading the feeding guide table?
Re: Yet another food question Sorry it's 120g a day!!! the guide says 10-20kg weight and 3 months old is between 120 and 200kg a day Hollie is 14 weeks and weighs 10.2kg and is on 3 meals a day At 4 months the range is 125-225kg a day for the same weight range so will adjust accordingly X
Re: Yet another food question If you ask her I think she'll go for the 200kg per day end of the spectrum ;D
Re: Yet another food question I've got the guide in front of me and it actually says ' expected adult weight' : Which of course will be 20-40kg which is 200-350g Sorry for the misunderstanding and note to self.....read things properly next time!!!!!! X
