Any recommendations as to what is the best size to buy next? Juno is currently in a 24" crate but is growing out of it. Would a 30" last her to adulthood or is the best buy the 36"? Many thanks from Juno and me for all advise and comments a we want to be comfortable but cosy as well!
Re: Dog crates 42" is the best. Tatze soon grew out of the 36" and she's not huge. They need to be able to stretch out and to stand up comfortably. Once they are clean and dry indoors a bigger crate is fine, you don't need to go up in increments
Re: Dog crates We were given an adult dog crate, so we have put a box in and halved it, bailey loves it x but it is huge!
Re: Dog crates Thanks for the advice. Think I'll invest in the 42" crate for Juno as she seems to be growing overnight! Not sure what to do about the car as the 42" won't fit and she is used to a crate for travelling and she is so good in the car.
Re: Dog crates We`ve got a 42" crate indoors but the car one is smaller, just enough room for Murphy to sit up, stand up and turnaround. Pretty certain that`s sufficient for a car one, he`s not in it for longer than 30 minutes anyway. Steve.
Re: Dog crates I have a 36" crate for Bouncer. He loves it. I know I will probably have to get a bigger one in the future but for the moment it does the job nicely.
Re: Dog crates 42" by I don't know, 40" I think it is. My dad got one at a auction for $20. My mother found one for when we bring Zelda to visit her and my dad for $30 at a garage sale. At the stores, they are $90 + for this size usually.
