Lynne Maguire will be a much missed Forum Member and many of us are still greatly shocked by the news of her sudden death last week.
Several of the Moderators have been approached to pass Condolences onto Lynne's Relatives and to ask if they had considered any Charity to which Members could make a donation in Lynne's Memory.

    Lynne's Family have chosen 2 Charities :

    The First...

    Prevent Unwanted Pets

This was a local Charity that Lynne supported and you may remember she donated her prize money when she won 'Best Photo From a Mobile Device' in our Spring Forum Photo Competition with a beautiful and now very poignant photo of Jasper and Logan .

The link providing all the information about PUP's and the great work they do is as follows :

    The Second.....

    The British Heart Foundation

A Charity committed to researching inherited heart conditions and coronary heart disease which Lynne's Family have sadly and tragically been affected by.

I know you will join Pippa,The Moderator Team and myself in sending our very Best Wishes to Lynne's Family at this incredibly difficult time and offering our unconditional support as they deal with their loss x
    Thankyou

    Angela x

    Modified to add:

Allison Guest the Treasurer and Trustee of PUP has been in touch with me to thank us for our support.
She has asked for me to add the following link for donations :

    https://www.givey.com/PUPLancsWest

She writes that their Website isn't as well maintained as it should be as they rely on iT savvy volunteers to assist.
If anyone experiences any problems she can be contacted on

    alison@preventunwantedpets.co.uk

( I've asked Mum to post a cheque for me as I have my own problems with Paypal ???)

I was only thinking this morning it would be good if we could do something to remember Lynne by, so I was very pleased to read this post and will donate to the "Prevent Unwanted Pets" in her memory.

Just wish she was here, difficult to believe that she sent a post and two/three days later she so suddenly died. Such a tragedy.

Thanks Angela. I'm really glad we can do something in her memory, I will be donating to PUP as well. I've been thinking about her, Jasper, and Logan every day...all of her family must miss her terribly but because she told us so much about Jasper and Logan and we know how much they both loved her and meant to her they have been forefront in my mind.....

    Thank you Angela.

That photo is indeed particularly poignant now, as it was taken by Lynne herself. Her love for Jasper and Logan and her pride in them both shines out from the photo. She was a great character and a lady with a big heart, and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and condolences go out to her family. X

    Thank you, Angela.

I'm glad to support the BHF in Lynne's memory - in the hope their excellent work helps more families from suffering the devastating loss that Lynne's family has very sadly experienced.

I don't think a more appropriate memorial to Lynne could have been made. I didn't want to think of her passing not being marked in some way by the Forum.

    I will support PUP.

I'll miss Lynne and her well-earned pride in her beautiful dog, Jasper. She was a gutsy and determined person who overcame a lot. I wish she was still with us. Thinking of her family.

Donated to the British Heart Foundation in her memory.

What a lovely idea and a beautiful photo. I remember it from the competition. It was my favourite overall. I will donate to PUP in her memory. What terrible shock for her family.

    Re: In Memory of Lynne

I was so impressed by Lynne's determination to do the best for her dog, which in turn enabled her to overcome some very difficult issues in her life. I will never forget her statement: "Jasper may have not been a rescue dog, but he saved me." She was a real encouragement to all here on the forum, I will truly miss her. I will be praying for her family in this difficult time, and have contributed to the BHF in her memory.

What lovely words Angela , I am also missing Lynne who was there for me earlier this year during a very dark time indeed , we used to chat online most days . I think of how she overcame fears and ended up with a wonderful dog . I feel for her family , what a shocking time they have gone through and trust that they all find the strength to cope , especially little Logan , and not forgetting dear Jasper . I will donate to PUP xx

Thanks for that Angela. Good to feel we can do something at this sad time.
I haven't been posting here for very long so I didn't really 'know' Lynne, but she always seemed like a lovely person.
Her family & Jasper must be lost :'(

Lovely words Angela, thank you. Lynne had a heart of gold and always supported those that needed it, I know this because we would message each other when she lost her Brother and I my Dad to support each other :'( I cannot imagine what her family and the lovely Jasper are going through. I am going to split my donation between Lynne's favourite charities. Night, night Lynne the world has lost a very special lady, I miss you :'( :'( xxxx
