    Hello all!

I have just bought the mini version of this for Bob
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Company-Animals-Interactive-Feeder-Green/dp/B009CKHXYU

Just wondered if anyone else uses them? Do you think we could use it when he's really little? Or stick with a normal plate/bowl to start with? I quite like the concept of this ie. keeping them interested, slowing their eating down etc etc... just wondered if Bob would be a bit small for it? He'll be just over 8 weeks when we collect him next Sunday.

    Lou x

I think that they are great Lou, and you can use them at any age. :)

We have had one for a couple of months now and it's slowed Buster he's 8 momths old down a lot it now takes him around 20 mins to eat which is nice so i can have a cup of tea in peace before the day starts.

We got one for Hollie when she was 13-14 weeks old but had to send it back, she couldn't get her tongue or nose in to eat, she got so frustrated she tipped it up then hoovered the food up!!!!

We have another slow feeder which slows her to a massive 4 minutes instead of 1

Hope Bob gets on with it

I use them for Wispa (nearly 3) and Tuppence (1), as Tuppence gobbles her food in about 10 seconds otherwise and Wispa only takes a few seconds longer. They both love eating from them, but now take about 2 or 3 minutes to finish their food (dry kibble, wih a bit of water). 20 minutes sounds ages! I don't really have time to put the kettle on! :D

Not seen one of those before. Looks great and would be a lot quieter than Mira crashing around the place with her Kong Wobbler ::) :D

My feelings exactly about the Kong Wobbler....very noisy but does the job. Because of the noise I bought two slow feeders and they are great....Cooper now takes about 5 minutes to eat his meal instead of 10 seconds. Highly recommend them. Oh,and they go in the dishwasher!!!!

Edsel has used one of these for several months. He can get it open when he wants, but usually seems to enjoy the process of chasing it around the living room and nibbling up kibble. It definitely slows him down and he actually has started leaving a little in it at meal time and comes back later to entertain himself with it and snack later.

Lots of options to look at there. A trip to my local animal feed centre is called for I think.
