I know it will get better eventually but we are really struggling with the biting, we have tried Everything

It's not just when she is playing its ALL the time and hard.

We are at the point we spend most of our time in the hall!!!

We are giving her frozen carrots, frozen rags (she isn't bothered by them), teething bones, frozen kongs

    Please help

Have you tried standing up completely still, no eye contact? Or time out in her crate or a different room for a minute or two?

I would definitely pop her into time out every time then. You will need to be consistent. Hopefully someone else can give you more ideas as these are the only 2 things I done. Good luck

Bouncer is the same. It hurts me & my skin is like leather so im worried about the wife & kids.

Each time he does it, its in his crate for 1/2 hour calm down. It hasnt stopped him biting but I need to reinforce that it is wrong.

Try really short time outs - just 30 seconds. If you can, use a small room (bathroom, laundry) instead of a crate. A crate should be a place of relaxation and safety, and being put in there shouldn't be seen as a punishment (meaning that a crate, if used properly, should actually not even be effective as a punishment at all). So use somewhere that is not the crate :)

Holliesmum, I had the same problem....NOTHING worked except for putting Cooper (now 7 months and over the biting...well, most of it) in his crate for time out for a few minutes....I didnt do seconds....I did 15 minutes. The crate was the only "room" I had to put him behind a door since he is only allowed in the family room....a metal gate separating the rest of the house. He will have the run of the house once he has stopped chewing the furniture, etc. So, time outs are the ONLY thing that finally worked for me. Good luck.

We have been taking ourselves her 'favourite plaything' out of the room as we have Open plan sitting/dining/kitchen then the closed door to the hall/stairs and landing so we are trying that but isn't really deterring her

will just have to keep at it

I would say that Molly stopped chomping on me at about 20 weeks. I tried everything (well you are desperate, your hands are raw and it is so embarrassing saying your puppy did it) but it suddenly stopped. It was blessed relief.

So you are nearly there now.

All the family stand up arms folded and put noses in the air , works most times, however when moves to nipping legs, we either crate him ( 5 mins ) or walk out of kitchen ! Dhaka hubby said last week when I went ouch and walked out of kitchen, he looked bereft, 30 seconds seems to be enough if I remove myself,
    Hope it improves!!!!!
