FOX POOH really soft and squidgy when Lady rolls in it! : Just got back towards the end of a long soaking walk and down goes the shoulder and sliiiiiide and legs in the air waving while we roll onto the other side and sliiiiide back. She knows the routine! Lead over the trailer jockey wheel handle; bucket and sponge out; shampoo on; large bucket of water to rinse off; lead off; hoon around the garden at top speed at least a hundred times; stand with legs splayed, tonue out and tail wagging! ;D I used to get really cross with her but hey, 5 years on and it's just life with Small Black Dog called Lady. And I love her to bits (wipes tear from corner of eye, or is it fox pooh). ;D
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... Makes your eyes water eh? ;D ;D ;D Good girl, Lady - you enjoy life, you know it makes him happy really.
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... You see now I've seen the photo of Lilly doing it,I can just see Lady's moves ......bless her, think you are right David ,at 5 ,you just have to embrace it .....her pungent habit is here to stay me thinks ;D
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... Oh and it really is pungent! I've got a really good deodorising spray that's called "Fox Pooh" and an application of that after the wash down kills the scent stone dead.
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... Naughty girl SMD , I cant see you stopping this habit now David and I totally agree , wet fox poo is the pits . Thankfully, our two haven't ever done this ( yet ) but my previous dogs were all fans of fox and badger poo , carry on sponging
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... I'd laugh if Holly hadn't rolled in some yesterday. Fortunately there was a small pool nearby so she rinsed most of it off.
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... ;D ;D ;D I think accepting the roll is the only way to save our sanity - if I got cross every time Molly rolled in something noxious we'd both have a miserable life!
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... Oh Lady really ;D This is one thing I can say I have managed to 'successfully' train - "NO ROLLING" thank goodness x
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... Would love to know how you trained 'no rolling'! Not wet here, but Mira found a large quantity of really fresh stuff yesterday : Having rolled twice last week and having been washed with Fox Poo shampoo 3 times and still stinking I decided total immersion was required this time. Fortunately it did the trick and she is shining and smelling sweet. Well she was before this morning's walk.... :
Re: This wet weather is making the ....... Heehee I'm lucky not to be afflicted by this, but I'm sure there's time as Penny's not even two yet. Time for her to learn lol. I heard ketchup was supposed to be good for getting particularly fox and badger poo off... Something like the vinegar in it helps neutralise the odor and something else in it helps break down the faeces... Has anyone actually tried this?
