So, having a puppy for two weeks has taught me a lot already. The most recent lesson is: having friends round for dinner and introducing them to Willow is fun for everyone. Having one too many glasses of cava and still having to get up in the night for puppy wee breaks is not fun for me! Who knew? :D

Oh dear, not so good. I must admit other than big black bags under my eyes and having to keep myself awake on the sofa of an evening, I am enjoying seeing the beautiful night and morning sky's.

I don't drink much these days so it was a bit of a shock to the system! Still, an hour with a nutty, happy little black lab was a great way to clear the head and now we're both spaced out in her day bed! A short rest and then we're off to meet some cows and goats at a local fete :)

That is actually an unanticipated benefit of night time loo trips.
Not quite so good in the rain.
I remember Lilly's first Christmas, the one with the prolonged snow? She had a bad upset tummy and I was standing out in the snow, wellies on, thick long coat over my PJs.......it was really beautiful......

Ah yes I remember it well, we got Hattie in November just in time for the snow, late nights, early mornings waiting in the snow in my slippers freezing, strange I didn't have any offers of "no you stay in bed it's my turn" ::) xx

We may well start getting snow soon. Last year, it snowed non-stop for all of November, with no wind. The snow was well over a metre deep on our terrace. I'm hoping for it to be a little more moderate whilst Willow still needs her mid-night toilet breaks! BRRR!

Ha ha, yes getting up in the night after a few drinks is not much fun. I don't drink during the week but usually have a few over the weekend. Last night my boyfriend was supposed to get up for Bob at 3.30am (Bob went to bed at 11pm) and he slept through the alarm! He got up eventually at 4.45am and Bob was STILL ok - no accidents! Got away with that one I think!

    Lou x

PS looking forward to some snowy pics of Willow! ;D ;D
