So, after listening intently to all your suggestions i decided to take Bonny for another walk. Armed only with a clicker (whizz click) and a pocket full of treats we ventured round to the park/field (we live in a very quiet area so just a path and a couple of houses away from the park and massive field of grass) I was so shocked when she kept following at my heel just like we practiced in the garden!!!!! By the time i got to the park i was awestruck! We made it! She ran over to another dog, had a sniff and ran back to me again. By the time we were on the way back i had ran out of treats but she managed to come with a couple of pips on my whistle and still clicking and rewarding (this time through petting and "good girls!") There was an older gent with a golden lab (the dog Bonny sniffed) and he couldn't believe how well behaved she was and said he STILL couldn't take his out without a lead! SUCCESS *DOES HAPPY DANCE*
