I have just found a load of chicken drumsticks and wings on offer in our local shop. Can I give these to Bob raw or would I need to steam them? Vet said keep him on chicken and rice for a few more days yet until he's back to normal... I wasn't sure if the chicken could be raw and cooked? Or just cooked? Just wanted to check! Lou x
Re: On chicken & rice diet - can I give raw chicken??? Boil them up with the rice and then remove the meat from the bones, and discard the skin, before feeding.

Re: On chicken & rice diet - can I give raw chicken??? Make sure you remove the bones. RAW chicken bones are fine (as part of a raw diet), but cooked they can splinter.
