Great story - I love that he is a rescue dog.

How is the DivaDog doing Roz, haven't heard much from you recently?

Sorry, should have posted an update .... The DivaDog [IMG] is back on top form and delighting us with her every move as usual.

Apologies for not posting but my health has taken a level downwards (I have heart failure among other things) which leaves me short on ooomph and do-ability.

I still read here every day and pop a vid or link on when I can.

But, I make the most of every day and am generally extremely happy to greet each new day; celebrate even the littliest of good things and am doing okay so no need to be mizz on my behalf.

Thankyou for asking - that was lovely :)

Oh gosh, I didn't know you hadn't been well Roz, sorry to hear that.
Glad you are still keeping an eye on us though.
And of course The DivaDog is going strong.
Keep taking those pills and following the doctor's orders - we need our newshound (even though I never seem to see the videos - bloomin' Java, or some plug in or do-dah that keeps crashing :-\ )
    xx

Hey Roz, we miss you when you are not here for a bit - so it's good to know why you are not around so much as you used to be, but so sorry to hear you are poorly.

I hope the divadog is lifting your spirits and keeping you cheerful.

The very warmest wishes to you from me and Charlie.

Oh my, I am humbled by your oh-so-kind words everyone - thankyou. [IMG]

I'm okay, am not much of a complainer, but I will share a cautionary tale with you all ....

I've been disabled since a bike accident decades ago; no change there.

About two years ago I had a tooth abscess and instead of making the (huge for me) effort to go and see a Dentist for treatment I waited it through. Some months later I developed extreme exhaustion and a rather embarrassing fainting habit. Many tests, an angiagram and echocardiogram later it was discovered my left ventrical has been substantially damaged as a result of Infective Endocarditis.

Now here's the rub .... it was damaged by the baddies in my tooth abscess which travelled to my heart.

So, folks, if you have a sore tooth go to the Dentist!

Hi Roz, just having a bit of a catch up. I am sorry you are not too well but you always remain so upbeat and positive, good on you :) Wishing you well and keep reporting we love it xxx :*

I have heard about tooth abcesses causing medical conditions, I guess it's just the same for us as for Dogs, same result. I have just been to the Dentist and I gotta tell ya I would rather give birth to a 10Lb baby, not that my babies were that big

    Keep smiling Roz xxxx

Oh dear, sorry to hear that, Roz. I have heard that tooth health is a very important part of our overall health and that bad teeth can cause other problems. Yeesh. A cautionary tale indeed... :-\

PS I loved the story of Tyke!
