My poor lab! She is pooping very often. Last night for example, from 6PM until 5AM she went about 7 times. Most times runny disgusting. We did switch her off Purina One puppy chow for Taste of the wild several weeks ago. I wondered if this may do it, but I dont think so. Its been some time since we swtiched over. She has not eaten anything abnormal that I know of. Any guesses what is going on? I feel so bad for her.
Re: 8 Month old bathroom often, not solid Oh poor thing. I guess you can't be sure its not Taste of the WIld - it is pretty similar to Orijen so its wheat free etc, isn't it? I think I would be doing 24 hours of chicken and rice assuming she is bright enough otherwise, then if all settles try adding back in the TotW, but maybe over a couple of days if you suspect it. If you are worried about her, have a chat with your vet though. I know a month or so ago there were loads of pups with tummy upsets - like a bug going about - so might be worth checking with any other dog owners local to you if you see them too. Hope she picks up quickly.
Re: 8 Month old bathroom often, not solid Do hope she is better soon... Best to starve her for 12 hours, then gently introduce a bit of chicken and rice. Make sure she has access to plenty of clean water. If it doesn't clear up after a day, or if she seems off color or with a temperature, then straight off to the vet.
Re: 8 Month old bathroom often, not solid Thanks. I have my eye on her closely. We stopped regular food last night and will give the rice and chicken today. Hope it works out. Taste of the wild is grain free. Supposed to be very good food, so I thought. I really dont know if its this or not. We shall see.
