We went out for our morning ablutions after waking up (at 7:20am - woohoo!!! After taking herself to bed at 10:30pm, this is amazing!). Willow did her normal mooch around while I sat on a low bench by the door that used to have flower pots on it. Any guesses as to why there's no pots there now? Two minutes later, there was a massive gust of wind. Two seconds after that, I had a labrador puppy in my lap. What a wimp
Re: We do NOT like the wind! Woohoo! Another full night. Well done Willow. On our walk we were close to a cockerel who was chirping very loudly. Couldn't see it just could hear it. Rolo was such a wimp, whining and moaning running behind my legs. I kept telling him to man up. Bless em.
Re: We do NOT like the wind! Haha, poor Rolo! Willow also chickened out of going out in the rain earlier. Granted, it was bucketing down, but I figured she needs to learn, so I was out there making silly noises and running around like a lunatic. She chased me a little but then went and sat on the bench out of the wet. If any neighbours saw me, they'd have been calling the asylum.
Re: We do NOT like the wind! Cooper (8 months tomorrow) will not go out and potty when it is raining! Guess they like to jump INTO the water but not have water drop on them! I have to coax and get wet myself and, as you say, run around and clap and whistle like a mad woman to get him to go! I am wondering what is going to happen when it snows. I get a lot of snow here! Guess I wouldn't want to go to the bathroom if it was raining on me, either. But they dont really have a choice, do they?????
Re: We do NOT like the wind! We get a lot of snow here, too - we live in a ski resort! It's due to snow tomorrow and Wednesday. It will be Willow's first experience of it. I'm hoping the wind drops because then it will be fun. I had to resort to putting a puppy pad outside earlier on in order to coax her to go for a wee. I guess it's all part of the training, and going back to basics when things change.
Re: We do NOT like the wind! I have to put on a raincoat, grab an umbrella, and pull the dogs out on a leash to get them to potty in the rain! Absurd... I actually think snow will be better - I'd rather walk in the snow than in the rain!
