We go to the dog park 4 times a week now usually, and Rue is definitely coming out of her shell! She still prefers to play with smaller dogs but is getting more confident around the bigger ones. She has even started "fighting"/wrestling back rather than just letting them chase her the whole time, which is a big change! Also, she hides under me less and less with each trip ... usually only when she needs a break or they're getting too rough. She absolutely loves going though! I still get incredibly protective of her. It makes me nervous how hard they play with eachother! I'm so afraid she's going to get hurt. We've had 3 or 4 encounters with overly aggressive dogs, but overall, it has been great for her. Here are two Great Pyrenees that are almost always at the park when we go. They are massive. great p by rue7514, on Flickr First time in the water! [/quote] They are a lifesaver when you want a calm evening at home. Rue comes home absolutely exhausted. You so need one for your little Rolo and all his energy!
