It's official Rolo's results are back and he has campylabacter. :(

The thing is that it makes me want to cry cos I have put it down to other things and not MADE the vets get it sorted. I told them at 10 weeks and 14 weeks and now finally at 18 weeks we know the cause. They have put him on Eurthromycin (sorry for poor spelling) but that apparently can cause vomiting.

    Poor lamb.

Yes, now you have a diagnosis, hopefully it can be treated properly. No point beating yourself up about it, just look forward to having a puppy at 100% health :)

Don't worry and don't feel bad. My dogs had campylobacter, probably caught from eating pigeon muck . It took at least three weeks for me to get a proper diagnosis because it want constant just intermittent diarrhea and I'm practically an expert on diarrhea thanks to my old lab ::).

The antibiotic they've given you is specifically for campylobacter. It can cause nausea and vomiting but my two were fine. No vomiting eating like normal no problems so it won't necessarily make Rolo sick.

At least you know what it is and he will be better in no time. :)

I went through at least 3 months of diorrhea and passing blood without any diagnosis. Our vet did so many tests which kept coming back negative. We eventually found out she is wheat intollerant!
Don't beat yourself you about it.....you have done what you could and he will get better really quickly now :)

Just one thing - I think I would be inclined to hold on the raw bones until you have got his tummy issues sorted out completely.
