It's up and Maisie has had a sniff and that's it! She had great fun chasing a piece fake pine tree round the floor though ;D

Yup. Wouldn't be Christmas without. Regarding it as yet another training opportunity.

One tip however. Don't let your 3 year old Granddaughter do it - everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is at Labrador height.

I'm not bothering with a tree this year. My daughter is in the Navy and spending Christmas deployed so there's just the two of us, and the two dogs. I trust Harry with anything, he's so layed back. But Charlie brings you everything she finds. Regardless of size..or weight, or if it's plugged in or not! So we'll skip a tree - maybe get the mini one out of the dolls house if visitors complain! x

We have finally got our tree up and so far Ozzie has not really been interested in it.

When we brought it in, he sniffed it a bit then was told to leave it and we gave him a new chew treat thingy a "Raw Hider Mega Muncher" which he was happy enough to have while we decorated the tree and then when we'd finished, we took it off him for a little bit while he got used to it, but he just goes to sniff it and so far that is all that he is doing, not sure we will be braving presents under it though, he's a bit too inquisitive for that,t his year, he is only 8 months old :)

Will try and get a picture of him with it soon :)

    Merry Christmas everyone!

    Merry Christmas!

Lady normally ignores the tree, but this year she nosed a couple of baubles and sucked a couple of branch ends!

I just broke a glass bauble when playing with my little boy and the measuring tape.. he'd pull it as far as it would go and I'd hold on for dear life.... It flicked past the tree and sent the bauble flying. Bob a Dog was asleep downstairs in his crate... I don't think we should be worrying about the puppy this year!

    PARENT FAIL!

I just hope I hoovered up all the glass bits OK, Bob likes a good snuffle around when he comes upstairs in the evening!

Well, the tree is up and Pongo has so far ignored it... even though he sleeps in the same room. Good boy! Here is picture of him ignoring it. Although to be fair in this picture he is focused on the bit of chicken in Paul's hand off-screen. ;)
