Re: What time does your lab wake up in the morning? Zac has been getting up earlier and earlier! Oy vey! And we are in the midst of a sub artic freeze here in NJ, so it's even less appealing to take him out! 5am (after a night of up every three hours) was the point where we reevaluated our habits. We are now not feeding him as soon as we get up with him and he is not complaining - waiting longer and then giving him dinner later, while increasing the amount (from 3 cups daily to 6 cups). Unfortunately he has barked to go out at around midnight - which makes me think the later dinner feeding is not a good idea... (8pm as opposed to the usual 6pm). I am also wondering if his crate is just too small anymore and he is just feeling cramped. If I take him downstairs to lay on his bed - he will go back to sleep - stretched out..
Re: What time does your lab wake up in the morning? i have milly she is now 20months and has never slept all night at first she was incontinent and had one kidney removed after she got over the op we tried every bit of advice on here to get her to sleep all night we ignored her she howled and she did not get the message after a short time of being ignored she is still now getting us up at all different times i let her out at 10pm then she sleeps downstairs she barks and howls at all random times i get up and let her out most times she wees sometimes she barks as we have foxes coming into the garden we had her in our room for a few weeks but she fidgets so badly we could not get to sleep i am goint to get a urine sample tested but have done this before and it was not the problem i am now getting very stressed by this and really dont know what else to try if we dont let her out she will whine and bark
