I have promised Benson a beach walk on the south coast on Boing day. I live in Winchester, can anyone recommend a beach that is reasonably close and has car parking facilities? Many thanks. Roger
Re: Boxing day walk Well, Bournemouth is nice, though it will be busy. My particular favourite is 'Sandbanks', which is actually in Poole. It has the advantage of the very nice Jazz Cafe, although you'd have to check if they're open on Boxing Day.
