Bob is 17 weeks old now... and he's a really good little boy (unless we are trying to get him to sit before crossing a road, he just doesn't get it)! I just wondered when the monster teenage years were due to start?! Just so we can prepare ourselves LOL! Also do some dogs progress through them without turning into untrainable monsters?! Can we live in hope or is it inevitable?!

6 to 8 months - ish. So, you are now in the absolute golden glorious phase of house training over, biting stopped, and teenager not yet made an appearance. Enjoy it... ;D ;D ;D

All puppies become an adolescent and then an adult. I suppose the horror of the teenage months varies in intensity - they'll be someone that has (or claims to have) an angel of a teenager no doubt - and I bet the strength of the training in advance and the owner's determination to maintain it has a lot to do with it - but every one one of our adorable pups goes through a phase of hormones raging around....

Ozzie started his teenage years at 8 month and O My!! Do we know it, he is getting a bit better this last week, :)

He was only a nightmare for a week or two but he has the odd day now where he is a stroppy "I do what I want" teenage boy stage.

Harley started her teenage phase at 1 year old! She started demolishing toys and pinching everything! Her recall wasn't too good and her jumping up and not listening was horrendous. Luckily she grew out of it on about 2-3 months :D
