Re: Rubbish afternoon Today has been better, i had a bit more sleep last night so felt better. Then i took Izzy to my dads who has mild dementia and he was taken up with her! I think she will be good therapy for him. She was very well behaved, no accidents. She was lovely in the car too, slept most of the way (50mins). Now shes makjng up for it, biting my feet! Little devil!
Re: Rubbish afternoon Glad today was better, Wendy and that your dad bonded with her. Animals are such amazing therapy for so many ailments, I'm sure she'll be a huge source of comfort to you all in the coming years. Once crocodog has disappeared
Re: Rubbish afternoon I have definitely felt like that a few times and probably will again I'm sure!!! There is no right or wrong way to do everything - you just have to do your best and don't worry too much if it doesn't quite always work!!! We are now at 12.5 weeks and things definitely a bit better. They start to go longer both through the night and during the day (although accidents do still occasionally happen!). We are still in the middle of the biting stage and it still gets me down (although think I may be getting used to it as I don't get quite as stressed out anymore!). It will all be worth it in the end - hang in there.......... X
