This book by Donald McCaig is a wonderful book about a Border Collie and his master. The dog gets stolen off the farm and the book (fiction) is thie story about the trials and adventures he had trying to get back home. This is not a children's book, there are some disturbing scenes. But it's beautifully written and truly a wonderful portrait of the bond between a dog and his human. I think dog owners in general would love it, not just BC owners. I believe he wrote another book but can't remember the title. Has anyone else read this one? And did you like it too?
