Howdy all! Sometimes Bob has a dry warm nose. My first thought is dehydration or raised temp so if we notice it we usually give him an ice cube to chew on. Just wondered if this was anything to worry about?

I never worry about a dry nose. If Charlie is inside in the warm, he sometimes has a dry nose. If everything else is ok, no cause for concern I don't think.

I agree with Julie. My dogs quite often have a dry nose inside usually after they've been asleep. It soon gets wet again. :)

You can rest assured it will be cold and wet in time for shoving it in your face - or ear - when you nod off on the sofa ;)

Dex had a dry nose when he came to live with us...I mentioned it to the vet and he said on it's own a dry nose it absolutely nothing to worry about....so as long as Bob is otherwise tickety boo I'd agree you don't need to be concerned x
