    Here's a link for an article on the main page about poo eating
    http://www.thelabradorsite.com/why-dogs-eat-poop-and-what-you-can-do-about-it/

    I don't have trouble with Bella (nearly 20 weeks) eating her or her sister's poo...but duck poo...chicken poo...goat poo...feathers... ::) Ugh....

    Mmmm, goat poo! Our walks this morning were covered in the stuff. Both of my two absolutely adore the stuff. I take it as good training practice for "leave it" (Willow's better than Shadow at this and always comes belting away from it for a treat) and for "look at me" as we walk past, which is Shadow's forte :)

    Haha! Not too many ducks around our neck of the woods, so my two may never get the opportunity to sample that particular delicacy ::)

    Tuppence will walk along a path covered in ducks, all the time looking back for her 'leave it' treat. She even looks for the treats when the ducks aren't on that particular bit of pathway. Duck poo is another matter, though. Treats, 'leave it' ... nothing works! The only solution seems to be to walk her before the ducks have been too well fed and haven't had a chance to leave the resulting poo everywhere! ::)

    Goose poo - that seems to be Zac's preference *gag*

    As far as the dog from hell moments - yep - we still have them! He has calmed down in some ways and yet at times can just be a lunatic. So far - we have found the tiring them out technique works like a charm.
    Tuesday we all had a day off because of about 7 inches of snow. We let him off leash (for only the second time) to play in the snow and he loved it! Of course - he mistook the kids' snow saucer for a giant frisbee - but they couldn't get any good sledding in, so we actually tossed the sled and let him play. He ran like crazy! When I finally took him in with me to start cooking and make hot choc, he immediately curled up at my feet and passed out. WOHOOOOO!!! He was super mellow the rest of the day too! We can't wait until the weather gets better and we can be out with him more consistently!
