Yep, my "little" puppy is now 6 months old & has turned into "Kevin the teenager".

He basicly ignored every command today & just did his own thing in a crazy eyes way.

I was expecting this but it still comes as quite a shock when your adorable lil guy goes completely daft.

that title made me lol, I instantly knew what you meant!

We were dreading this stage having twins, but (touch wood) they have been absolutely fine (8 months old now), other than counter surfing to see if there is anything worth stealing they are really well behaved. we have successfully de-crated them during the day, (successful other than a bit of a gnaw on the kitchen door lol) and last night we decided to try a night out of the crate, and it went really well! They slept in the dining room on the leather sofa all night. I do think it helps that there are two of them, as they play out in the garden for hours on end, sometimes having 10 mental minutes taking it in turns to chase each other, sometimes just laid on the grass together playing.

I am sure we will have some challenges before long, but i'm enjoying it while the going is good :)

Maybe you need to get a friend like Perry round to tire him out haha

Are you Kevin's mum then? That was a brilliant show. At least your sense of humour is still intact ;D

It seems to happen right out of the blue. I was even afraid to take Sara to puppy school. Totally deaf. It seems to be in remission right now, but yesterday she brought the car back with an empty tank of gas and the radio up full. No milk bones for her.

The only good thing you can say about Labrador adolescence is that it is over fairly quickly.

I can understand why so many Labradors go to rescue at this stage. You think you have worked SO hard with them as puppies, you can relax and then the nightmare begins.........
