Hi all....reading this book right now, by Susannah Charleson. The subtitle is "What a handful of 'unadoptables' taught me about Service, Hope, and Healing." The author works in canine search-and-rescue and the book is about her interest service dogs for people with psychiatric disorders. I'm just into the beginning of it so far but am enjoying it. She is a good writer and obviously loves dogs. She has also written another book about her work with canine search and rescue, called "Scent of the Missing", which looks like a good one too.
