Since reading, it's a good idea to get puppies used to being alone, I have reguarly left Bailey for an hour in his crate a day, and gone out! Yesterday I had to be out 2 hrs! Checked I had my mobile, in case emergency . .... So Bailey could phone me !!!! Duhhhhhgh Btw still sleepy on my return, frozen kong untouched! Must have felt the safety I. The knowledge I was always a available on my mobile! I used to have a brain!

Lou, I have a system by Swann Communications which comes with four cameras (ability to add up to eight) and you can watch on an app. It goes to night vision mode when it's dark, so you can still see them. It's a security system, so has ability to record a huge amount of video and you can set it to record all the time or just when it senses movement. We bought it for when we buy a property in Spain for keeping an eye on it when we're not there, but at the moment, it's set up as puppywatch for when we're out. It sat on the corner of our L-shaped kitchen/dining room so we could scan all the way round the room. Occasionally OH would watch her when we went to bed at night and if she got off her bed he would tell her to go back! She would look very confused but always obeyed the disembodied voice ;D

I can look and see what she's up to anytime and I can talk to her through it when she used to be confined to the kitchen when I was at work, I checked in one morning to find paws on the work top. I spoke to her telling her 'down' which she did, I then said 'bed', she went to her bed, stayed there and fell asleep
