Just trying to get our heads round the 'season and time frame thing' Hollie had a week of visible blood, haven't seen any for a week but she is still cleaning lots (being such a good girl) Her vulva hasn't swollen at all. How long on avarage does it last? I think we are waiting for her vulva to swell then a week or 2 after that it will be over?????? Or are we totally wrong and we have loads more waiting to do???? Re: Another 'season' question First seasons don't always conform to the normal pattern. Count 21 days from the first bleeding to be sure - though with some bitches the season can last longer than that. Some bitches even can have a split season, which means they start bleeding, then stop for a week or two, then start up again...
