Pro fibre is great for firming up poos. I use the full amount it says on the tub for a week or so, then - when all is well - I go down to a small pinch on each meal.

I would stop the sausage too as it's quite fatty. Just use kibble for treats, then, after a couple of weeks introduce one type of treat at once to see how it goes.

We did that with Gypsy and she is fine now. We just use dried sprats for treats.

Here is the link to the pro-fibre http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BEXP5MA/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1425373115&sr=1&keywords=pro+fibre

edited to add - sloppy poos can also be due to too much food, maybe give a little less in each meal and see if that helps?

I find cooked sausage, even a little bit as treats, gives Shadow a runny bum. He's fine on frankfurter sausages, though.

Similar to Julie T, we have a chocolate show lab with a BIG head, that at 16 months, he is just growing into. When he was younger he had quite baggy eyes, and a very furrowed brow due to the loose skin around his head. When he is tired in the evenings, his eyes look really red and droppy..I don't worry about it now, as for Benson this is perfectly normal.

Have you got any pictures? I've been watching meg closely since I first noticed the eye thing and it seems to come and go throughout the day. Sometimes they'll look a bit droopy and other times they'll seem taut. Very weird. I'm not that concerned though, seems like plenty of other lab owners have experienced the same thing without too many adverse effects.

Meg's eyes, at least in the single photo you posted, did seem to have quite a bit of the sensitive inner lid exposed. It might just have been that photo, and I'm no expert anyway, but it would be worth chatting to a vet next time you are in if her eyes seem to get irritated. It might be able to be sorted if it continues to be a problem and troubles her.

It's not normal for labs to have droopy eyes, the skin around the eye should be nice and tight. Charlie's really could be a bit tighter, I think. But it's much improved and there is no need to do anything. It is worse when he is tired.
