If it is a temporary run, then it is OK but I would provide better shelter, the roof will serve no purpose as most rain does not come vertically down A timber dog box off the ground inside the run will give the dog somewhere draught free and dry to sit.
Re: got my dog pen put together I was also wondering what it's for? Looks ever so big for the house, but not weather proof (again sun, rain, wind) for outside - or may be it's a run to attach to an outdoor kennel perhaps?
