http://www.flickr.com/photos/97066992@N03/sets/72157634335410917/ We had the most ecstatic welcome ever this morning.....note to self...don't wear boob tube maxi dress when reuniting with your labrador ....the poor taxi driver didn't know where to look !! He's been a superstar for his sitter....no mischief in the house, listening to his basic commands and mostly ( : )cooperating!only areas of improvement on his report card were...whining to be let out of his cage at 5.30 am( when it gets light here and pulling on his walks! Would have been more surprised to have got home and heard that he WASN'T doing that to be honest.he hasn't been off the lead on any of his walks so tonight's will be interesting to see where his recall is at......he hasn't left my side today though so I hope we might just have to just do a bit of sharpening up ...... I feel so much better now I've seen what he is like after being left, this first time was really a worry to me in case he was sad....or forgot us!silly me,I know you all knew better but thanks for pepping me up.... Now to catch up on all your news, been too occupied with tummy rubs and wrestling .....oh and laundry Dubai is yowch 42 degrees today! X
Re: Phew!someone remembers me! what a beautiful girl you are with a beautiful dog.......he as done very well, behaving for his sitter ......good boy dexter ....
Re: Phew!someone remembers me! Lynne you are too kind!Dex is the looker in that shot for sure!me rocking the pj look! Ha ha ! Been lucky To have had such a lovely holiday but its Great to be back thanks Kate x
Re: Phew!someone remembers me! So glad things went well for you!! Hoping the same for my holidays.... But not expecting it to be honest. 6 weeks away is a long time....and Simba is only *barely* trained....and he'll have quite a bit of time alone....and the boys will get impatient with him.... Leading to him being turfed out of the house...more time alone.... more bad behaviour....The whole thing stresses me out, truth be told!
Re: Phew!someone remembers me! don't get stressed lisa , you maybe very surprised, your boys will look after him and have him trained when you get home
Re: Phew!someone remembers me! WONDERFUL! ;D Ah! 42C. I bet it's that temperatures at 7 in the morning and at midnight isn't it? With the humidity haze so thick you can't see the horizon when you look out to sea. Woohoo!
Re: Phew!someone remembers me! David are you here?its exactly like that!6 am starts for us now! When do you head off Lisa?its no wonder you feel apprehensive but hopefully it will be that old adage of sometimes things arent as bad as you imagine them to be.Once you are ready to push off on your hols there is nothing more you can do,you have prepared as responsibly as you can.ill be keeping everything crossed for you.....Main thing is that you have a great break .....you will need it after your last full on weeks! X
Re: Phew!someone remembers me! Used to live in Oman from 1978 to 1986. 8) Hey Lisa. It's a worry but I'm sure it will be just fine. Brace for the welcome when you get back. ;D
