Poor puppy.....his 2nd longer walk of the day(still sticking to the 5 min per month and splitting it between 3 walks)has to be when it's dark.....put ice in his water to come home to,crank up the ac and then lay him on the tiles to literally ' chill out'! :-\

You know Jade,he's bigger than he looks in this photo but he's not tall.....he's 9 months now and last weigh in was 22 kgs and that was at just turned 8 months. He's going muscular round his chest and his face has changed .i wonder if he will grow taller?I'm only short so as i put my hand down to him it rests perfectly on his head :* Amy is 5 months isn't she if memory serves me right.....is Amy gonna be big or is Dexter gonna be small?....lets watch this space ;D x

Thankyou Lynne,he is all of those things ....ALWAYS ......in the house!outside not always so well behaved.....he just wants to be everyone's friend so he can seem a bit boisterous....I think, but I hear people chiding me saying he's just young, sometimes I think do I expect too much :-[ jasper is going to be a big boy for sure, but boy is he a handsome one ;D

Julie, he does have a lovely kind nature,he has been snapped at a couple of times by smaller dogs, nothing serious and he just looks so crestfallen as if to say,why dont you want to play?I just want a well behaved dog,but I want him to be happy and have fun too .... it's tricky when its your first dog getting the balance right...

Wouldn't it be lovely if we could have a big lab puppy play party with our big beautiful kind labs? Charlie also gets snapped at by small dogs - we spend some of our time in London, and there are lots and lots of small snappy dogs everywhere we go. I had to intervene yesterday because Charlie was getting quite harassed, nipped and chased, and small snappy dog wouldn't let him get back to me. Lovely Charlie just looked worried and sad and tried to run - when he could have sat on the snappy little thing and just squished it. (I'm not anti small dogs generally, but had enough lately).

He's got a lovely face - he always looks so smiley, relaxed and friendly.

Would be amazing to have a massive Labrador Site Lab Party. Though some of us may find the taxi fare a little expensive...

There are three other Labs in Obi's obedience class besides him - Rocky (chocolate) and two yellows, Marissa and Clifford. They LOVE to play when they get a break in class. It's a big Bitey Face Wrestle Fest.
