Fit not fat!

    This is just something that popped up on my Facebook the other day from the fab Rottie Rehab organisation. I know it's got a Rottweiler on it but it's equally true for Labradors!

    Casper is a real chunky labrador, he has a huge barrel chest and broad front, no fat on him, you can easily feel his ribs. Someone the other day pointed out that labs were supposed to be like that to make room for a big heart :* :)

    ........and now we are being told that humans have a 25% less chance of getting dementia in old age, if they are obese!

    they may not make it to old age if their heart gives up though !

    And apparently 10% of our calorie intake comes through alcohol
    (I wish)
