They thought my dog was badly trained, aggressive, fat, too nervous... she's none of these things, except nervous of my dad because he hit her on the nose. Don't worry, I told him not to hit her ever again. Bizarrely, they've just texted asking if they can come over again this week. Er, ..... no. People like your MIL and my folks must be desperately unhappy to slight people (and dogs!!! go figure!) just to make themselves feel superior. It's good to get it out of your system somewhere friendly like this!! Ultimately, though, others are right to point out the positives... How lovely your husband cheered you up with loyalty and a funny And what a lovely mum you've got too! My step-dad came to let Bonnie out for her toilet last week when I was in hospital. He stayed all afternoon in case she got lonely and he'd made little toasted crouton treats for her as well!! Focus on the good people and congrats on your new addition.... we'll be expecting photos of course
