Re: turning into a nursery Never be sorry,he's gorgeous and it's lovely to see him, next time look out for a millipede.....plenty of feet to chomp through then! ;D you are queen on the bargains.......50p caterpillar and bonus buy fish, well done!
Re: turning into a nursery i not sure if its a caterpillar got an eye for a bargain even though my son insisted jasper needed tougher toys last week.....50 pound waste,....got a bag full of soft toys today, my cushions might last a bit longer
Re: turning into a nursery Obi would love that toy. I've always said that the perfect toy for him would be something with 1000 legs. Chewing legs off is superb fun. And noses, antennae, ears, tails.....
Re: turning into a nursery A lovely picture. I see one missing leg ;D Plenty more to keep him busy. Jac
Re: turning into a nursery 2 legs off the front 4 off the back,....its tucked away for the night,....it will be gone tomorrow, .....would hate to think i am encouraging him to burst more cushions,.......suppose i can't grumble not had a lot of damage
Re: turning into a nursery Just bought some toys for Simba at the pet store .... Supposedly tough ones, but... Cost a fortune! But hopefully he'll get some enjoyment out of them...
Re: turning into a nursery lisa i bought the ruff and tuff toys from the pet store last week,......they didn't last any longer paid 50 pound, there all dead
Re: turning into a nursery Ya I have a feeling these are facing the same fate....haven't given him one yet!
Re: turning into a nursery If you can ever get hold of the old style care bears, from charity shops or car boot sales, they're really tough. Possibly not labrador tough, but they do last longer than 'dog' soft toys. Bear factory/build a bear are okay too. But the favourite here is the medium sized charmin bears, from the loo roll promotion yers ago. They don't look hard to rip, but they last ages! Look a bit like a rat once it's chewed a buit mind!! Charlies favourite at the moment is a fisher price 'first doll'. As you've all said waste of money at the pet shop - just go to the car boot sale. Dogs get great socialisation there too! Win win. x
Re: turning into a nursery I agree - spent many euros on stuffed toy tigers, pheasants, rabbits etc from pet store; all destroyed super fast. Seal and Lamby, each 50 cents from the flea market, are much loved, but holding up better than the expensive pet store toys.
Re: turning into a nursery yes i agree,.....i have had the build a bear teds, they do last longer bought him a dummy this week, after 20 mins we lost it on the field
