We stayed here for a night when visiting friends. Very welcoming, very dog-friendly. They're allowed in the bar and restaurant and there's a mainly-enclosed grassy area outside that they can run around on. The bedroom was very traditional and homely with a remarkably comfortable bed and bedclothes - not that we got to use more than the very edges of that, obviously....
