Stayed for two nights when visiting J's sister. It is very close to the end of the runway of Liverpool Airport, but you didn't really notice any noise from the planes - the wind direction may impact this, of course.

We stayed in the family room, which had plenty of space for the two of us and the dogs. There was a secure field outside for them to have a bit of light exercise, and go to the toilet first thing and last thing at night. There are sheep and alpacas in the adjoining field, but they didn't seem particularly interested in the dogs - it may be an issue if your dogs would react to them, though.

The owner was delightful and picked us up from locally a couple of times in his car for no charge, including the dogs. He also said if we needed to pop out and wanted him to let the dogs out for a run while we were gone, he'd be happy to do it.

We'll definitely be staying again when we're next in the area.
