http://www.flickr.com/photos/97066992@N03/9212001649/ My Sister and her family made their escape from the Dubai heat this week ......Mum sent me this picture of George (4) with their red setter Derry.Last year George was really fearful of Derry ( who has the gentlest,loveliest nature)he wouldn't go into the kitchen unless he was in his cage or outside in the garden,it was quite stressful for everybody.Since then Dexter has come into George's life.....obviously the exposure to a puppy has given him confidence and now Derry has a new best friend!Dexter has been such a lovely addition to our lives,it gladdens my heart to see that him being here has made such a difference ....

Re: George and Derry Thanks everybody,reports back are that everyone is still friends... And are all having a lovey time..Its a lot for Mum and Dad they have 4 grandchildren aged 4 and under for these 2 weeks every Summer,they cope really well but it's tiring.Im back there at the end of the July to help out( hyperventilation sounds .....leaving Dexter again!)I always do 2 weeks with my Sister and children when her Husband comes back to the Desert.Wont worry about Furry Features( pinched your nickname Rachael ) so much this time,he was fine last time ;D
