Don't forget to post pictures of your visit!! Can't wait. Just wanted to tell you that my other 3 grandchildren came yesterday to meet Maui and it was great fun. I met them outside with the leash while they got used to one another. They are 11, 9 and 28 months and got along nicely. They all went in the pool, although I had to keep tabs on Miss Maui so she didn't knock the little one over in the water! Only crated her once, but for the most part, with very close supervision on my part, it was a fun afternoon for all. Just being curious this morning I decided to weigh her. She wasn't the 'runt' of the litter, but one of the smaller of the 11. At their first visit to the Vet with the Breeder she was 12 pounds. When I brought her to my Vet 2 days after bringing her home at 9 weeks she was 18.5 pounds. I was looking at her and thinking she's almost doubled in size ... length mostly, not width. I weighed her like I do our suitcases when we travel, first me and then with the bag .... she's about 22.5 pounds!! She sees the Vet for her next set of shots on Monday the 6th so it will be interesting to see where she weighs in! However, guess I can safely say, she's growing like a weed!! Have fun enjoying your anticipation ... and keep us posted! :)
