    Hi.

Only had my Lab Cheddar for 5.5 days and it seems rather too easy or will it all go wrong?

1st night I got her I crated her and she has no problems with it at 9 weeks old.
Went to bed at 10:30pm and she woke at 2:00am for a quick wee and poo then back in the crate with 20mins of moaning.
Back up at 5:30am with no problems.

2nd night bed at 10:30pm with no moaning and then up at 5:30am for the usual.
3rd night bed at 10:30pm with no moaning and then up at 6:00am for the usual.
Then the other nights are the same.

Sleeps great during the day and can leave her in the crate for 3 hours (I'm at home all times and not in the same room as her).
Only had 3 wees and one number 2 on the kitchen floor and none in her crate.
Can sit and almost stay and retrieve already with lots of treats.

She seems so easy going and the wife said a bit boring lol but if start playing with her then them teeth will have you.
    Hope it stays this easy.

I always say our Tess lulled us in to a false sense of security, she was so easy for the first month or so! Loved her crate from day 1, never pooed indoors, only a few wee accidents, good as gold once we started taking her out etc. We then went through the croco-pup phase when I had to separate her from the children basically all the time and my clothes were getting ripped on a daily basis, and now at 5 months she's lovely again :) Enjoy her, I love the name!

    She's absolutely gorgeous!

They are all different, but I think it's quite rare to have no crocapup stage - enjoy!

Enjoy it - it might just be the honeymoon period ;)
Make sure you give her lots of praise even for just lying quietly in her cage - positive reinforcement will go a long way when getting her to understand what behaviour you want.
And then she'll become a teenager  mwahahahaha
She is a gorgeous little pup :)

She's gorgeous. Sounds a very relaxed little girl - reminds me of Juno. Hoping it all keeps going so well - even Juno's crocopup stage wasn't too hard to live with :D

    Thank you all.
I don't mind the teeth as long as there's a time and place for it.
    ie playtime.

    How adorable
Harley was a good sleeper from nearly the start and now at 22 months will often sleep til 10-11am
She may be lulling you into a false sense of security though

    Aww she is gorgeous! :)

Benson our chocolate was actually a very good puppy. From 10 weeks until about 4 months old or so he really, really was good. Rarely had any accidents, took to crate training no problem. Never barked or whined. Didn'r even have much of a crocopup phase to be honest.
    Until...
6 months he became a REAL handful....then at 8/9 months he hit adolescence and I am not sure we have quite recovered from that!
