Scooby's had his fatty lump excised this morning - we spent a nervous few hours today, but he's home now. Rather woozy but happy to be home, and starving hungry - he's had a little roast chicken which has stopped his tummy gurgling. He has a drain in - which will be fabulous with beige carpets - yuck. That comes out on Friday, garden rest until then at least. We had the choice of having the lump sent off for analysis, but their opinion was that it was almost certainly a simple fatty lump, so given that we're not insured - we've left it at that.

yay! We've had the drain out today - he is back to his old self and desperately wants to come out with me & Belle to the beach - still on "no jumping" orders until his stitches come out next Friday so unfortunately I cannot let him jump into the car - he is too heavy for me to lift, OH just about managed for the trip to the vets.
On a stinky note - his antibiotics are giving him copious quantities of truly FOUL wind.

AB`s do tend to have that effect, unfortunately , but at least your lad is well on his way to normal again , good to read :D

Glad Scooby is back to his old self and desperate for a beach trip. You'll all be much happier once the drain is out and the ABs finished ;)

Great news! I expected you will be relieved when Scoobys stitches are out, and normal beach activities are resumed :)
