Re: Some pics and vids Thanks Lisa - gosh, "wait" at a distance is SO what I need to be able to do. So much to do/work on/think about - and so little skill! But it's great to see how the pros do it, gives me something to aim for.
Re: Some pics and vids It was all taught with the clicker . I use wait a lot. Wait at the door, wait to get out the car, wait on me while i catch up haha. Mostly for safety reasons so she isnt dashing out the door/gate and into a car or knocking me over to get outside. I first started using it on walks when she was a little ahead (off leash), say name and wait...she turns to look and stops, i clik and treat. Built up from there really. Im by no means a pro, she's my second dog but a very willing pupil and eager to please
