what can I do?

    This is just so sad. Poor dog. How frustrating it must be, the dog sounds lovely, with great potential.

    It is very kind of you stick with them, and the children do sound like they respect you and are taking your advice on board, which is great, however like others I would be concerned re: when the kids are back at school. My over arching concern is for the little ones and the risk involved with adults that do not understand the danger in leaving dogs unsupervised.

    You must feel drained by this Ternaya...it's stressful seeing it happen.I'm not in any way saying it's right and it breaks my heart but you know what...how the dog is being treated is probably how the average dog gets treated in a lot of family homes .......I just hope your kindness and attempts at education can make it better for this particular dog and prevent an even sadder story happening x

    Quick update...........
    Unfortunately the dog has been given up . I found out on Facebook that he has been given to her ex-husband and his girlfriend who have 2 young children. Photos posted today show the toddlers all over the dog! I give up! Feel so sorry for the dog
