Charlie is a bit quiet. He is snoozing in between walks, and not being at all annoying. This is very unlike Charlie. We've been away for the weekend, and he has had a lot more to do. Plus, we've been walking up hills with him. He has the all clear to do this, and the all clear to have his exercised increased, but now I'm worried he has done too much. He has also been doing some training for real - he has been to a training class, and we are going out 3 times a day to train with the puppy next door (she is learning to walk by Charlie without going nuts, he is learning not to wind her up so she goes nuts). I'll cut down his exercise and skip his walk at 3pm.....see how he is.... It's sad - I'm only happy when my dog is being a hooligan. If he stops being a hooligan, I worry about him.
Oh no, it's ok, he has just woken up, nicked the oven glove and galloped round the front room with it and sent the coffee table flying. He's back....
Just maybe sleepy and chilled after all the activity? He most likely hasn't done too much. Just enough to make him want to snooze rather than do more. Try not to worry. Just see how he is tomorrow
Oh right, just read your other post, LOL! Ps. I really miss that thing we used to have where it told you someone had made another post while you were writing...
I miss that too! He has gone back to sleep now though.... Well, I hope he is ok. He'd be limping or stiff if he had done too much in a physical way I guess. And he isn't limping or stiff.
Phew! The hooligan is back! It is funny isn't it though...it can be so frustrating, just get settled on he sofa....then the dog brings you something from the kitchen, oven glove, door knob...the usual thing..... I guess we get used it and it becomes the norm Casper is so quiet today, also. I am worried, whether we just exposed him to too much yesterday. Ho humm...we are never happy are we?
Not too much to worry about if he's nicking oven gloves and doing celebratory laps with them . He's just lulling you into a false sense of security while he plans his next big challenge
