Juno enjoyed her visit to Lake Dathee this morning, a nice stroll to a good swimming spot, lovely swimming and retrieving then a longer walk back to car and a stop off in town for a pre-lunch drink WP_20150802_11_36_22_Pro by Rosemary McDonagh, on Flickr WP_20150802_11_35_51_Pro by Rosemary McDonagh, on Flickr
Wow, look at the wash Juno creates - I'm sure a drink was well deserved. It's a very warm day in Surrey too, we went to the stream for a splash but your lake looks impressive!
I think the splash is just after she'd leapt in and was just moving out of the shallower water and into a proper swim. Once she's swimming there 's very little evidence of her moving in the water .... You can just about see her in this one WP_20150802_11_36_25_Pro by Rosemary McDonagh, on Flickr or this one as she just picks up the dummy WP_20150802_11_36_25_Pro by Rosemary McDonagh, on Flickr The lake is one of the parts I'll miss when we move together with the waterfalls and local streams, but I'll just have to find some alternatives as my girl really loves the water
Oi, you - being so cheeky . Both our girls are total beauties. The man running the bar spoke to Juno before he spoke to us and asked her if she was thirsty . He then brought her a nice bowl of cold water with our beers, and patted and fussed her. Just for a change she didn't try to lick his face which is her normal response
That's really lovely, what a nice man. I'm so thrilled for you and Juno that she's able to lead such a happy life. Your posts are an inspiration that all will be well for Mabel in the end too. Mabel's a bit jealous of Juno being allowed to swim so she had her paddling pool in the garden, not quite as much fun. Xx
Ah but Mabel will be starting hydrotherapy very soon. Juno loved that after the first week and ended up impatient with the massage prior to the pool and not wanting to come out of the pool at the end. You'll soon be able to take Mabel out and let her swim safely.
