Just happened after Bronze class this evening. Can't think of anything she's eaten other than I stopped her eating a radish top in the afternoon and I tried her on half a strawberry at tea time. We've had three walks today and she does dash in and out of bushes ; I think she tried a blackberry! But it's possible she's picked up something else. And she's quiet but she would be at this time of day, especially after 3 walks and dog training class. I guess I'll have to get the sick blanket down (mine, for when she's sick) and sleep on the sofa. Wait and watch time. Poor thing.

Oh dear poor Chepi. It's possible she picked something up which hasn't agreed with her. I'd be sleeping on the sofa as well if it was Juno. Hope Chepi improves quickly and you get some sleep tonight.

Oh dear, have you got prokolin? Amazon do it next day delivery. It's always worth having a tube in for such times...

Charlie gets runny poo from time to time. I react by analysing his food intake for the previous 7 days on a borrowed super computer...come up with nothing, and my OH just shrugs and says "he sniffs something he should not have sniffed...". I reckon it's often as simple as that....

    Hope it clears up quickly.

Hi Jane, hope Chepi feels better soon. Maisie occasionally gets an upset tum, but then seems to bounce back with no problem. Hopefully you will have a peaceful night.

Thanks all. I am trying not to mother her too much as it has occurred to me that she might think I am worried. JulieT, thanks to your OH, I'll pretend he said it to me. I only sent the claim off for the grape incident today

In that case, since he has a French accent to die for, "she 'as sniffs someting she should not 'ave sniffed" :D:D:D

Same thing happened to Myles yesterday! In his crate :(. He was so sad about it. I think it's a trick to get me to work from home and feed him chicken and rice , which has been our day today.

It' s just rolling around to 2 am and Chepi is happily sleeping on the sofa with me but obviously am wide awake with one foot dangling on the floor as she is taking up all of the room. But the worry of her making an awful mess in her crate is preventing me from popping her in there. Just wanted to share that ....

Ah yes, I didn't sleep well last night for worrying if he had to be let out. I would definitely avoid putting her in the crate until you see a solid poo. Myles had a normal one today so I feel comfortable about leaving him there tomorrow. I have a pet sitter that comes twice a day. She's actually who made the discovery yesterday. My process has always been to withhold food for at least 12 hrs after onset (but making sure he gets plenty of water). Then slowly introduce chicken and rice in small doses and after I see a normal poo will start mixing in his regular food again. Hope Chepi clears up soon and you are able to sleep in your bed!

Morning! I staggered to bed at about 4.30, sun just coming up. We got up at 7. I gave Chepi some potato and then cooked some chicken. No more squidges but she hasn't had a drink. She's a bit off colour and taking it easy but is not overly lethagic. I am keeping her company on the sofa and will call the vet if she hasn't had a drink in the next 2 hours. She will look at the water bowl and then walk off. Recently she has been drinking out of her paddling pool so I have emptied that in case of nasties in it and also to monitor her intake from her bowl. We are usually on our way back from our first walk now but I don't think a walk is on the cards today.
    How is Myles?

    Get well soon Chepi xx

Try mixing some honey in warm water to get her to drink, it may help :)

If Juno is a bit off I give her bottled water rather than tap. Come to that I do that when ever there's a change of water when we go on holiday, I guess it's because I tend to be sensitive to changes in water so drink more bottled than tap. It's important to get her drinking if only little laps at a time. Hope she's feeling better soon - Juno sends gentle licks to make Chepi better

Love the honey and water idea, will have to try that! Myles loves crushed ice so that is how I will get him to "drink" sometimes. Glad Chepi is feeling better today :)

She was quiet until tea time and then wanted to play and at 10pm finally did 'one'. Ahhhh. Too much detail?
