Deformed front paws

    I am sorry to hear of your dog's pain, awb. I'd be very interested to see photos of deformed paws -- what would a deformed paw look like that would be cause for worry? My boy has outward turning front feet and his toes (fingers?) don't all point exactly straight. The middle two point straight, but the inside toe on each paw is kind of splayed inward. The vet said this is because, as he walks, his feet swivel, wearing the pads unevenly of each of those inner toes, resulting in this form. He never said it was anything to worry about, and to anyone else, I don't think they'd notice -- I just tend to inspect my boy with a "magnifying glass"!. But of course, as I read of some your dogs being in pain, I do worry!
