Just wanted to share - although nowhere near Harry's pin up status, Charlie is obviously developing a serious diva ambition...

(I think we should have a "random picture of dog" section - never know where to put things like this. Don't suppose it matters.)

He is the most beautiful pup...

My Poppy is tiny, a real girl, and a working strain lab through and through. I love her to bits - but I have to admit I get all gooey when I see big strong male labbies like your boy...

Thanks! I think he is just lovely.

He is just a week off 5 months now.

I love the working labs - they look so fit and fine and nimble. But I am enjoying Charlie's Chocolate loveliness - and his coat is SO shiny. He just gets rinsed, I'm so scared to disturb what is obviously a naturally balanced oiled coat with soap (he still smells like a puppy though, so my no soap policy might change rapidly with time...).

I love photos, I have a big leather album that I've been keeping for about 20 years now, and it's a joy to look back at all our adventures. Charlie is one of our biggest!

    Charlie is gorgeous!
And the choccies are so much easier to photograph unfortunately compared to the blacks ::)
Jealous of your lack of needing soap too ;D

    Ah, thanks.

The photos are easy though - good quality digital wildlife camera, with rapid shooting and a very, very, fast auto focus, decent PC processing power to transfer and process them. So on our walk this morning, we took about 400 photos, then I flick through them over breakfast. I always get one or two good ones. Darn it, there you all were thinking I had some talent! Secret is out, it's just technology.

Julie you have got to think about professional dog photography as a career! That's a stunning picture of Charlie. I agree, definitely talent. Of course having such a stunner of a subject helps. He's just beautiful isn't he.
