I thought that Barney's allergy is more or less settled - he was just a little itchy from time to time & nothing more for few years but it looks we're back to square one unless sth else has caused that but I doubt as it looks the same as before immunotherapy. His paw is swollen & very painful. It looks like he has a hot-spot at the bottom of his paw. I was trying to sort it in a usual way (hibiscrub, sock on all the time) but it didn't want to get better so we went to the emergency vets today. He got some antibiotics, pain killers & more apoquel. We are booked to our usual vet next week but I think I know what she'll say...
Right now most important is to heal his paw so he can walk. How much more can that dog take?

    Thank you all :)
We've seen our regular vet on Monday - she thinks he must have stepped on sth & the wound has become infected and as he's still quite sensitive it all has combined into big eczema. Antibiotics are working greatly - he walks normally without socks, just can't swim till he finishes them.
