My poor wee Jura had a terrible night with diarrhoea, started at 11.30pm and continued almost hourly until 6 this morning :(, so it was off to the vets with the poor wee mite first thing this morning. She was running a slight temp so had a shot, meds to take over the next 5 days, rehydration salts and small amounts of chicken and rice for the rest of the day. They also want to see her tomorrow morning again to be on the safe side.

Hate seeing her like this, but on the plus side she did jump all over the vet and try and steal his glasses , and is now sound asleep after pawing the door of the cupboard where her kibble is kept for a good 10 mins so hopefully she will bounce back fairly quickly.

Aw, big hugs to Jura. Shadow also had a poorly tummy in the night, so is on chicken and rice today, so it's not just the little puppies that can suffer :(

    Hope she feels better soon.

Gosh sounds like you've had a right worry, upset tums are horrible,I went through a long period of them when my dog was young so I can sympathise.I'm sure the meds will kick in and you will see improvement...
Sorry Shadow is a bit off too Fiona x

Well she seems a lot better this morning but vet took her temp and it's still slightly high, hopefully the meds will sort that soon. No more explosive poo though thankfully!

Hope Shadow is feeling better today :)

Poor lass, hope her temperature comes down soon. I'm sure you're looking forward to seeing her back to her normal self.

Glad Jura is improving and I hope her temperature comes back to normal soon. They do like to make us worry.

The chicken and rice seems to have done the trick with Shadow (although he obviously thinks he's STARVING). I think he ate too much long grass, as that seemed to be what was mainly coming out.... bleurgh. Today, he's having the rest of the "chicken risotto", as I like to call it to make it sound posher, mixed with normal kibble.
