Its about Millie Today was the first completely off lead day , had decided that I could no longer cope with the long training line, might be ok in fields but you can imagine the chaos in woodlands : I`ve never worried about letting any of my pups off lead, its always been from day one of being allowed out and about, but a rescue dog is another kettle of fish because you just dont know . However , she is very food orinentated so, armed with tiny pieces of sausage, heart in mouth, off came the lead , she was brilliant , just messed about in the water and then scampered about with Sam , I was watching her like a hawk and no doubt we will have fun and games but for now , she kept coming back to recall . To think its only two weeks tomorrow , she has learned so much, with the help of her big brother of course Sorry for keeping on about her but its just a relief to have got the first time over

Certainly was my inexperienced incompetence but I had Charlie on a line the first time I took him out to the Park. It's a good job he was so cute as a youngster - I think we wrapped the lead round at least six pairs of legs! Luckily no-one sued...gave up on it rapidly....can imagine it's a nightmare in woodland!

My husband is very happy indeed , first time I have seen him smiling in a long time I let her off lead again this morning , she was brilliant , the only minor issue was when I gave her friend ( a JR called Joe ) a piece of Millies recall sausage , she wasnt impressed with that at all but doesnt mind Sam sharing it :
